Having just implemented Proclass at Chelmsford I have, of course, had requests for new categories.  Two which seem valid because I can't see any way to incorporate them elsewhere are for Grants and Subscriptions.
 
I've set them up temporarily but would be grateful if they could be formally incorporated into the set.  Advice on suitable UNSPCC codes would also be appreciated.

I have been doing quite a bit of work around new categories and it has been recognised that in particular Social Care and Highways are areas that need to be looked at.
 
As such here are the suggestions that have been proposed for Social Care (Terry - as discussed with you in Southampton in April):

Could you be clearer about your Highways recommendations?  Fencing is shown twice and many of your other suggestions are already in the current Proclass list.  Or am I misunderstanding your layout?

Following receipt of the heading suggestions from SECE, CIL queried some of the classifications suggested. The transport questions have yet to be answered, but following clarification of the Social Care headings the following revisions are now offered for discussion as being more meaningful, and should hopefully analyse the spend information in a more effective and efficient way.

 

Other views on this are welcome from the forum.
