These are very good questions and some will need to be addressed under the next version of ProClass, which this has now started to create.

Curtains; carpets and blinds – currently classed within 21999 - furniture - Not elsewhere classified

Obviously this is not ideal, we think Furniture will need expanding to Furniture, Soft Furnishings & Floor Coverings, with Soft Furnishings and Floor Coverings as 2^nd level headings

Merchandising and promotional items such as mugs and pens etc – currently classed within 191800 – PR & Image.

We think this could be covered by 191000 Advertising with a change to the classification information so it reads ‘Service & Products’

General office & mailing machinery: such as franking machines; shredders and binders – currently classed variously as 300000 mail services and 271400 ICT reprographics equipment

Veterinary Services – currently classed within 311600 Healthcare Services.

We think that for this we should create a new 2^nd Level heading in Environmental Services called Animal Services. This would then have 4 - 3^rd level headings of Kennel Services, Licensing Services, Pest Control and Veterinary Services. 

Domestic goods – domestic items for social care purchases currently classed within 169999 - Domestic Goods - Not elsewhere classified

We think that for this that Leisure Services should be changed to Arts & Leisure, with Music Instruments added at a 2^nd level, to include purchase and maintenance.
